The Anti-bullying Alliance is a coalition of organisations and individuals working together to stop bullying and create safe environments in which children and young people can live, grow, play and learn. We consider membership from any organisation or individual that supports this vision.
ABA defines bullying as the repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. Bullying can be physical, verbal or psychological. It can happen face-to-face or through cyberspace.
We can provide advice and expertise in relation to all forms of bullying between children and young people. We have experience in working with a vast range of clients including the government, youth charities, journalists, documentary makers, public services, schools and colleges, children’s homes, young offender institutes and businesses. If an expert member of our team is unable to assist – we can certainly put you in touch with someone who can.
The Anti-Bullying Alliance was established by the NSPCC and NCB in 2002 and is hosted by leading children’s charity, the National Children’s Bureau.
